Tyverith shifted behind El'dan, nearly prancing in place, wanting to chase the lovely red. El'dan kept a firm hold on his blue though and Tyverith stayed put. The two had been bonded too long for the blue not to obey.
El'dan knelt down and watched the weyr. He hoped Kanly would be alright. he didn't know anything about the bronze rider, but he hoped to Faranth that he would be gentle with her. Kanly deserved that much at least.
~~~~
Randy quietly slid onto Ransk's back and waited for the signal to go. She hoped everyone would return safely and they would get G'rett back in good health.
At Raziela exited between, she found her mood no less inflamed than before. The cold of between had not chilled her, had not cooled off the righteous anger she felt at being foolishly ordered away from the Weyr so that Lord K'ain could have his stupid queen. Why did he deserve a queen anyways? Z'zak was far more of a man that that arrogant tailfork was on any day. Seething, the bluerider did the only thing she could think of. She sent Tanyrth the coordinates and then roughly ordered him between, her fury-filled voice leaving no room for argument.
The blue felt the return of lust almost immediately upon re-entering the atmosphere. His instincts were quickly taking over and it was only by a miracle that the woman was able to remove the riding straps before he just flew with them still on. A sly smirk spread across the bluerider's face as she watched her dragon take off. Warmth was spreading from the secret place between her legs and she was feeling fuzzy fast, much like she had consumed too much wine.
Chrysoberyth! Tanyrth called, his timid nature gone as he roared his mating lust at her. I have flown with you all this time. This bronze does not know you like I do!
Raziela spun on a heel and entered her weyr, bustling through it like a strong gust of wind. She was on a mission now. Oh, she'd talk to Kanly and teach her all about sex. But she'd do it her way. The woman was a force to be reckoned with as she fairly stomped down the corridors, finally reaching the one where the young greenriders were keeping watching. "Get out of my way!" she snarled loudly and viciously, causing the teens to jump and begin shaking, allowing her entry into the room. "Kanly," she greeted, her voice a malicious, lusty purr. Let's see K'ain stop her now.
As soon as Arktos saw, through Forge, that Coth had launched himself, he looked behind him to see that all the greens were aloft. Satisfied, her gave the signal to go between.
Arkysk arrived on the ground a few dragonlengths from the entrance, just at the right place to view the blue take off. "Shards!" Arktos swore loudly as the greens from his team settled around him.
"Another male has defied their orders and stayed to Chase. Arkysk, inform the other whers and dragons. Those that are entering the weyr to rescue G'rett must take caution."
Arkysk complied, his lamp-like eyes barely visible beneath his eyelids. Everyone should be careful, Mine says. Some male dragons have disobeyed. They are still here.
Arktos looked back at his own group, checking to make sure that all were here and safely dismounted, his eye resting for an extra-long moment on Kiyoni and Eliwodth. "Ok, everyone, the entrance is this way. All the riders follow Arkysk and I. Once the entrance is safe, the dragons may follow."
The guards at the door, two shivering teenage boys, had failed to notice their approach, so entranced they were by the mating Flight above. Arktos sank into a crouch. "Remember, disable them only. If you have rope, tie them up. Now, lets go." He pulled his staff from his back, and then, in eerie silence, ran up to the first guard, dispatching him with a well placed whack to the head.
*****
Q'del saw the blue launch himself as they arrived from between. He was in the middle of the most creative string of curses anyone had ever heard when the greenrider reported Arkysk's warning.
"It just figures," he said grumpily. Quindara's face only became more grim and determined. As their group landed on the ledge, the young woman (a girl really, to Q'del's eyes) who'd been gaurding it, scurried back down the passage to the weyr. He didn't blame her. Q'del and Quindara dismounted and both drew their daggers, hoping not to have to use them. "Well, is everyone ready?" the tall bronzerider asked.
Demnoth meanwhile reported to Toniel. Mine says his group has arrived safely but already the plan has gone wrong. At least one male dragon has disobeyed their leader and has remained to chase the red. They are getting ready to enter the weyr now.
******
Meanwhile, Kanly nearly jumped backwards as G'rett suddenly came awake and strained against his bonds. Any other time she might have run screaming in the other direction, but something, somethings caused by the Flight, spurred her forward despite the wild look in the bronzerider's eyes. Just as she reached him and began to untie his hands, the door burst open and Raziela appeared. This time, Kanly did yelp. "What are you doing here?" she squeaked.
Chrysoberyth did not notice her rider's distress, she was reveling in the joy of the skies. Ever higher was her wish, but the cold air forced her to dive, and she turned it into a crazy downwards barrel roll. As Tanyrth entered the Chase, she bugled to him, a noise between happiness and challenge. Let him prove himself worthy.
Toniel had watched in the Weyr Bowl as the teams of dragons and whers lifted off, her eyes fixed on one man in particular. She had a worrisome ache in her chest and she knew it was somehow tied in to Q'del. When they left, she called to her gold and asked her to take her up to the Weyrsecond's weyr. She wanted to sit with Demnoth so that she would know the instant that something was wrong. Or the instant that they were returning. Just as Aylinth had launched off the Weyr Bowl, she heard the bronze's voice directly in her mind. The last time she had heard another dragon other than her own had been when she was Searched, other than the brief, broadcasted messages alerting the entire Weyr of Hatchings.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she heard the message and her gold had wisely gone silent, feeling her rider's distress. What if something happened? Who was the rider of this male who had disobeyed? What if he was too powerful to overcome? Or if he injured Q'del? Thank you, Demnoth, she said a bit shakily. Aylinth landed on the weyr ledge and Toniel slipped off. The gold arranged herself next to the bronze and Toniel sat between them at their forelegs, her fingers tightly clasped in her lap.
Raziela laughed at the young girl's yelp, her eyes taken on a slightly fogged glint of mischief. "K'ain is not my Master," she said derisively, feeling immensely pleased with herself. It was so satisfying to be able to say his name without that ridiculous title that had kept her cowering in fear all these Turns. She had the same amount of the Blood racing through her veins, though it was a different line. Did his maleness give him the right to rule their group of riders with an iron fist? The bald woman advanced on Kanly and G'rett with a feline gait, hips lightly sashaying with every fluid step. "Kanly," she murmured, lids hanging low over her eyes.
Tanyrth grew more emboldened by the red's exuberant bugle, flaring his wings and beating them powerfully to follow her. His eyes were whirling like rubies, every facet vibrant and alive with the intensity of his lust. He climbed with her, ignoring the chilled air. He was used to it by now, after turns of living in this frozen climate. He watched as she dove, arrowing himself after her. As she began to spin in a slightly uncontrolled barrel roll, he tucked himself tight and spun faster and tighter than she, racing towards the ground with her. He was ever mindful of the distance between them and the quickly approaching ground, as well as the gleaming bronze bulk that also competed for Chrysoberyth's affections. He would win her. For Raziela, for himself. He would prove to Raziela his worth.
El'dan cursed angrily when he saw Tanyrth enter the Flight. This wasn't supposed to happen. Kanly was going to have her hands full enough with the bronze rider let alone Raziela showing up. The Healer crept closer to the weyr, wanting to make sure that Kanly was alright. He quickly told Tyverith to stay put as the blue twitched in reaction to the Flight.
~~~~
Kiyoni dismounted Elliwodth and followed the others. She stole a quick glance at her mate before following behind. She couldn't afford to get distracted now. It would only make things worse for her and Arktos.
~~~~
Meera and Vanlith followed Sanrev and Sanresk. They were ready to do whatever the wherhandler thought best. She glanced back at M'lym as they waited for further directions.
~~~~
Ransk blinked between and was soon waiting at the weyr. Arkysk says a blue had joined. Things have changed, the red said as Randy dismounted.
Randy frowned at her wher's words. That was all they needed now. What else could go wrong? This was not a good start to the rescue mission.
Cadalayith quietly landed behind Ransk. Tanly slid down her green's shoulder and waited for B'ren. She wasn't sure how this was all going to play out. Especially when Cadalayith told her about the blue.

Z'zak kept still, splitting his mind in one direction of trying to keep his large brown on the ground, the other half trying to stay sane on the current situation. One shout. That was all it was going to take for him to lose all concentration. Just one shout that did not belong in a mating flight's actions. Well, it was not a shout that had broken his concentration. It was that of Raziela stomping her way past those poor young riders. She must have let her blue join the flight. Z'zak smirked, losing a moment's concentration on his lifemate. Leave it to Raziela. Although, he did not want her to have to face the wrath of K'ain if her blue caught Kanly's red.
Kanly. Shortly after the bluerider's entrance into the weyr did Z'zak here the youthful yelp of the young redrider. He moved forward, stopping himself momentarily as if contemplating on his next move, then continued, giving the greenriders an expression he usually reserved for K'ain before moving himself silently within the weyr, keeping himself against the wall, though the lighter shading of his clothing would make him stand out like Thread in a cloudless sky at midday. He had not meant to scare the younger riders, but the scars stretching across his face and the redness of his left eye often caused that affect on them.
Nocheth took advantage of his rider's lapse in control over his wings and shot himself from the Weyr's floor and out into the wide open sky after Chrysoberyth madly. Lovely Chrysoberyth, I am here! he called out to her as he shot skyward after them, knowing that the red would be flying high again.
Z'zak grit his teeth, mad at himself for losing control of his dragon. "Faranth!" he cussed as he forced himself against the wall, feeling his brown's lust in his own body. Do not shardin' catch her! I don't want to share her furs unless I must! Nocheth, by the First Egg, I swear! he growled at his brown with the bit of sanity still his own.
***********************
Peronith relayed the black wher's message to Hers once they had come out of Between, Kikikaa dutifully relaying it to her passengers as the green landed swiftly with the others. The three riders upon her were all dismounting quickly, K'mik sparring a crazed grin at his sister as he pulled his quarterstaff free. They followed Arktos and Arkysk toward the entrance, watching as he easily dispatched the first guard, K'mik advancing on the other just as quickly, light steps bringing him within an easy swing at the rider's head as his sister pulled loose some rope that she had brought along for just the purpose that the CandidateMaster had just mentioned.
*******************
K'kaar's smile faded ever so slightly at Arkysk's news as he dismounted his lovely green, relaying the message to his passengers. So there would be a fight sooner than later it looked. Wonderful. Either way, he was protecting Weyrling Quindara as well as making certain that they were trying this as safely as they could. They needed to save G'rett from their angle and also keep casualties to a minimum. Faranth, what had he agreed to here? He looked to Tess for further instruction since she was leading their little group.
**********************
Sanresk came from Between upon the ground, feet spread wide for his landing in the unfamiliar place. Arkysk's say blue male stayed. Careful, Sanresk's. the brown spoke to his Handler as the Guardsman slipped to the ground and looked at the others of his group. They were going to work their way to the ledge where G'rett was being held and he looked to the other Handler. "Ready?" he inquired in a low voice of her and her team. His looked ready enough for him.
*******************
V'zee dismounted the green that had been his ride and gave his mate a small smile to hopefully ease her worries over him. He nodded to Sanrev as the Handler asked if he was ready, already eying up their route as soon as the red Handler's group was ready to proceed, dagger within quick reach of his good hand.

M'lym jumped down from Vanlith's back, giving the green a grateful pat as he did so. He looked around uneasily, gauging their surroundings, and then he turned to Meera. He hoped that the Greenrider would be all right. He knew that he would be worried about her the whole time, and he hoped that his urge to protect her wouldn't cause distraction during the fighting.
He tightened his hand on his sword and followed Sanrev. He was ready to do whatever he could to help resolve this, even if it came to battle.

G'rett's attention was diverted when someone barged into the weyr. A bald-headed woman, probably at one time who had hair but for some reason was now without it, was now present in the room with him and the young girl. She greeted the young Rider with a lusty purr, then started to approach her, clearly as if she were a feline stalking her prey. The young girl was clearly nervous, but Flightlust was starting to take hold of all three of them.
He strained against his bonds even harder, and he groaned through the fabric that served as his gag. Cut me loose! Set me free, and I'll show both of you who truly is the master! I shall have my way with you two, and dominate the both of you!
Coth craned his neck to see who now joined in the Chase. A Blue and a Brown, huh? The Blue seemed to taunt him, and the Brown was now trying to woo the jeweled prize he alone was trying to snare. The mighty Bronze snarled a warning at them both. Don't even think about pursuing her! I'll fight you both for the right to have her if I must! Coth then turned to croon sweetly at the Red. Lovely maiden, I alone am the strongest of the three, and I will gladly fight all others to prove my worth to you!
-----------------------------------------------------------
B'ren scowled when a Blue raced out of the Weyr, and quickly dismounted from Cadalayith. Arktos gave the order - disable only, tie them if you need to. Two teenage boys were standing guard, both of them clearly scared or shivering from the cold. The Candidate Master raced up and knocked one out with his quarterstaff, but before the other boy could react B'ren swiftly drew a throwing knife from his boot, gripped the blade between forefinger and thumb, and snapped his wrist forward.
The knife spun through the air, and the hilt connected solidly with the boy's skull, sending him collapsing to the ground in a heap.
Before the blade could hit the ground and possibly alert anyone, B'ren had already came running and grabbed it a mere handsbreadth above the stone floor. Still holding on to the blade, the scoundrel withdrew a spyglass and was therefore able to take a peek inside the weyr where G'rett was supposed to be. From what he could see, G'rett was laying on his side on a bed, bound and gagged; hovering near him was a young girl and a bald-headed person. B'ren squinted to make out the details. Hm. A woman. That meant she was the Blue's Rider. Lowering the spyglass and collapsing it before putting it away, he looked back at Arktos and held up his index finger before shaking his head. "Single Rider," he whispered. "If we're going to make the swap, we'd better make this fast. No telling if..."
The familiar sound of another dragon screeching his challenge echoed throughout the entire Weyr, and B'ren nearly let out a litany of curses. "...another Rider will be on his or her way." He glanced down the corridor to see if anyone else was coming, then looked back at Arktos. Once the Candidate Master made his decision, the scoundrel would move up with two of the other groups to the front of G'rett's weyr.
-----------------------------------------------------------
C'olt and Aromath raced out of between and the Healer shivered as soon as he recognized where their battle group was. He shouted over his shoulder at T'tarel. "South Polar Regions. No wonder we never knew this band of rogue Riders existed. This zone is supposed to be a forbidden area to all Riders." At the signal, the Healer eased his Green down to a safe landing near the others, and C'olt quickly slid down from his seat. He looked up when the Blue raced out from the Weyr, and he shook his head. This wasn't going to go well.
Following the other Riders, C'olt stayed well back while the lead group dispatched the guards. He looked at T'tarel and the other Green Riders in their group, then the sound of another dragon taking Flight to participate in the Chase caused him to wince. "We're about to have company," he said, finally taking a position near the main entrance to the Weyr itself. He quickly examined the two guards - young boys, really - to make sure they weren't too seriously injured. "They'll come around shortly," C'olt hissed at Arktos.
-----------------------------------------------------------
C'pher wrapped his arms around Mia's waist as he prepared to go between; when everyone emerged the man shuddered. Nothing but snow and ice, and ahead of them lay a mountain or dormant volcano. By the time everyone landed, Arktos was giving his instructions. C'pher dismounted, then helped Mia down before joining the main group. There wasn't time to worry about the Blue joining the Chase, as that would mean it would only be a matter of time before all chaos broke loose.
The Blue Rider waited until the coast was clear, then hunkered down next to the entrance and readied his short sword and waited for the inevitable.
----------------------------------------------------------
K'ain watched as the Bronze continued to chase Chrysoberyth through the skies. He gazed in awe at a Blue dragon joining the Chase, and soon a Brown likewise followed. Confusion took over for a moment. Wait a minute. Why were a Brown and Blue Chasing his daughter's Red? Didn't he order all male dragons to be out of the Weyr?
The Holder's son started to look through his makeshift camp. "Raziela! Z'zak!" He called for his two trusted lieutenants. Shards. Where were they?
"El'dan!" K'ain looked for the Healer, but he, too, was nowhere to be found.
He spun around on his heel and let out a furious cry of vengeance. Traitors! All three of them! They had defied his orders, and now his dreams of having that Silver were in danger of being dashed! "Everyone back to the Weyr, now!" he shouted. "Find me Raziela, Z'zak, and El'dan. They shall all pay for their arrogance in defying me." The entire group scrambled to get back onto their mounts, and K'ain strode over to where Antera was, and simply stared into her eyes. He expected her to come back with him, to help him deal with the traitors.

Randy nodded in answer to Sanrev as she slipped off Ransk's back. The red stayed close to her handler's side. "We're ready," she whispered. At least she hoped they were. This was something that none of them could have truly prepared for.
Ransk dropped her head and sniffed around, getting a good scent and idea of what was going on. She wasn't going to let anything happen to her handler.
~~~~
Tanly watched in surprise as first Arktos and then B'ren were able to knock out the guards without any problem. She slid off Cadalayith, not sure how much help she would be, but she would try. She didn't have as much training as her mate, but she knew how to take care of herself.
Kiyoni slid off Elliwodth as well and waited for further instructions. This was going to be the hard part. Waiting and hoping that G'rett was doing alright. She ignored the sounds of the sounds of the dragons over head and concentrated on the matter at hand. She watched Arktos in surprise. She had forgotten how good he was with a staff. But still, the idea of having to knock out children was not appealing to her.
~~~~
Meera gave M'lym a small smile before sliding off Vanlith. The green rider pulled out her staff, not being real great with swords. Although she had had enough siblings growing up that she had learned to take care of herself without any problems. She knew she would be worried about M'lym, but she couldn't let herself get distracted. It could mean disaster for either of them or any of the others in their group.
~~~
T'tarel frowned as he shivered. "How can anyone live out here?" he shouted back to C'olt. What kind of insane person would try to live out here? It was off limits for a good reason.
The bronzer gripped his shoulder as he slid off C'olt's green. He sighed when he saw another dragon join in the chase. This wasn't going to be good. It just seemed to get worse and worse. He had a feeling it wasn't going to be easy to just get G'rett out and not end up in a fight at least someone in this desolate place. T'tarel prepared himself. He was surprised to see that the guards were only children. What kind of monster would do such a thing? His blood boiled at the very thought.
~~~
El'dan looked up in alarm when he heard another dragon. His eyes widened in shock when he saw first a blue and then a brown join in the chase. "No," he hissed. "Z'zak, what are you and Raziela up to?" The Healer knew they'd be in enough trouble if K'ain caught them without another dragon joining in the chase. Although he couldn't help hoping that Nocheth would out last Coth. He knew Z'zak would treat Kanly kindly.
Tyverith snorted and started to get antsy. The blue knew not to disobey, but the longer the flight went on the more the blue was having to fight to listen to his rider. He nearly sprang aloft when his rider's concentration slipped.
"Ty," El'dan hissed. "No. I have to keep a clear head." He just didn't know how true that was. He didn't know that K'ain had realized they were gone and was at that moment coming back. Which could spell disaster for quite a few people.

Chrysoberyth's head snapped around in surprise as Nocheth joined the Chase. Now things were getting interesting. She had peeled out of her wild fall at the arrival of the brown, not immediately rising but intstead pelting straight ahead in an erratic zigzag. The red had not often been allowed to fly with full freedom. Now she was taking advantage of it. She did a loop for pure joy followed by an upwards spiral. Let's see them keep up with that.
Kanly's eyes went wide as Raziela spouted an angry tirade. She backed up, in fear and slight loathing, her terror somewhat masking the flight lust. She heard G'rett struggling and she began to untie him again, glad for the distraction. Her father was going to be furious.
Just as she had the bronzerider hands free, Z'zak entered the weyr, much more quietly than Raziela had. "Z'zak?!" she half-yelped, but there was a definite note of releif in her voice. Just then, Chrysoberyth's strong will superseded her own and she was flying with the red. Her arms extended as if of their own free will and she felt the joy of being airborne and wingfree.
*******
Arktos nodded to C'olt as he tied up the young boy, feeling a twinge of bitterness that it had come to this. His son, had he lived, would have been about his age. He carried the boy over to the other one. "Tie them back to back and someone stand watch. He shook his head at B'ren. "We have to trust them to do it. We must guard the entrance. Those other males joining may bring the rest of them running here." Arkysk made a low growl in his throat at the thought and Arktos turned his gaze outward, his stance ready. Tell the dragons they can come to the entrance now, but caution them to be careful. Arkysk relayed the message, while Arktos assured himself from the corner of his eye, that Kiyoni was still safe.
********
Q'del poked his head through the curtain. No one was in the passage, so he slunk forward, careful not to make the slightest noise, though he doubted the occupants of the weyr could hear it between the roaring dragons outside and their yelling. Finally they'd reached the end of the corridor. As luck would have it, nobody was looking their way at the moment. He crouched down and whispered to the others. "All right, I'll take down the man, and you go for the bald woman," he said to the green rider. Tess, if you could restrain the girl until we've got everything under control, I'd be grateful. I know you can be gentle with her. Quindara should go straight to G'rett. It looks like his bonds are untied. With the other riders there it might be safer to try to get G'rett away in the commotion. Try to get to an empty weyr, Tess and Tesk can follow you." That would keep his sister away from the bulk of the fighting, which made Q'del happy indeed.
Once he'd received confirmation, he ran forward in a crouch, Quindara following slightly behind. Q'del rushed the scarred man, attempting to bowl him over with just sheer mass and surprise. Quindara rushed over to G'rett, grabbing his hand, trying not to be frightened by the rage in his eyes or angered by his definitely bedraggled appearance.

Nocheth snorted at the arrogance of the bronze, having not encountered such an attitude in many turns. You are young and have much to learn! he shot back as he followed the red's spiral in the form of a bee-line in her general direction. He would give this young one a run for his marks. He knew he could outlast Tanyrth in a gold flight, but Chrysoberyth was probably somewhere in between a green and a gold. He would be testing his wings happily in this chase.
Z'zak battled minds with his brown while he forced his eyes to remain on the room at hand. If that bronzerider so much as forced her into choosing for her dragon, he was going to stop it quickly and forcefully if need be. He felt sorry for Kanly if Raziela won the flight for he was pretty certain that K'ain's daughter was straight.
It was in that half-flying, half-watching like a father would, state that Z'zak suddenly saw movement and was already pivoting on his left foot to face whomever it was, half his mind thinking that it was K'ain come to discipline them for disobeying his orders. What on Pern? That was not K'ain. He was too tall and too wide. None of their other riders were that size...His mind noted that this was a stranger to his Weyr and he reacted as impact was made, mind suddenly disconnected from his brown's chase, save for the competitive state, as instinct kicked in and he was throwing himself into a roll to hopefully throw the man over top of him while his left hand reached for his dagger. If all went well, he would be back on his feet after his roll, but that depended on the skills of this stranger.
Mine! Nocheth bellowed as His was no longer fighting him. He continued his chase, but it was noticeably slower. Mine! What is going on?! the large brown asked, trying to multi-task his emotions of lust and protection.
******************
Kikikaa knelt to help tie the two greenrider guards, worried about the youth in their faces. They were hardly more than children. Her brother stood nearby, quarterstaff at the ready as his baby blue eyes scanned the surrounding area. Sure enough this plan had swung wrong on both sides because he distinctly recalled someone saying that male dragons would not be around the Weyr. At Arktos' okay, Kikikaa called her green closer, Peronith moving cautiously, but protectively. Hers meant the world to her.
*******************
K'kaar followed Tess within, looking for his first moment of aide. It was different going into something knowing that he was not sparring with safety in mind. He was fighting with fear of his life and his dragon's on the line.
**********************
After receiving confirmations that all were ready, Sanrev led them on toward the weyr ledge that had been indicated as the one they needed to get to. "Move quickly!" he instructed, spying at least two greenrider guards of small stature in their way. Sanresk lurched forward after the heat signatures of the two guards, figuring fear of his size would allow his Bonded time to close in during the distraction.
*******************
V'zee took a deep breath as he followed Sanrev up the slope toward the weyr ledge on the inside. They were moving at nearly a run to manage to surprise this lot. He just hoped things would be as easy as Arktos had mentioned, but the distinctive sound of another challenger to the flight said otherwise. Another rider of a male dragon was still present.

Coth simply kept pace with his would-be prize; the Red trying to confuse the males by pulling out of the fall as soon as the Brown entered the Chase, then looped before spiraling upwards. The Brown simply snorted at the Bronze, accusing him of being young and lacking in wisdom. It wasn't long, though, before Nocheth started to fall back. Good. That left only Coth and that Blue to battle it out for the right to Fly Chrysoberyth. Even in spite of his massive bulk, the Bronze simply stretched out his wings to take advantage of a rare thermal, sending him higher. Now pulling on the air, Coth started to close the gap. It wouldn't be long now before he caught the Red.
G'rett continued to strain against his bonds, and the young girl finally remembered to free his hands. The Bronze Rider reached up and jerked the fabric out of his mouth and down around his throat, and his nostrils flared with each breath. His whole body was sweaty, lust mixed with raw passion. G'rett said nothing, only looking each woman up and down, letting his gaze linger on each of them. He'd been with two women at the same time before, and this would be no different. Only he would dominate them from the beginning, and both women would know what it was like to be swept away by waves of powerful emotion. G'rett reached down to untie the bonds around his feet, and he finally stood up, then approached the young girl first.
That was when another man stepped into the Weyr, clearly intent on having the young girl for himself. G'rett growled, but before he could make his move did he see movement out of the corner of his eye. A hauntingly familiar face came into view, rage evident, and leaped at the newcomer. He was still full of Flightlust, and now rage started to flow in his veins. Who dared tried to get between him and his prize? Just then, someone took him by the hand and started to pull him away. The Bronze Rider looked to see whom it was, and it was another hauntingly familiar face. Very familiar indeed, but his lust-addled brain failed to compute just who it was that was leading him away. Who was she, and what did she want with him?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aromath slowly but stealthily glided her way into the Weyr when Arkysk gave the signal, and the Green landed without a sound on one of the nearby empty ledges. Her eyes were tinged with orange, her senses heightened for any sign of danger. C'olt, meanwhile, was busy tying up the two guards Arktos and B'ren had knocked out, Kikikaa helping him with the process. The Healer looked up just in time to look out the large tunnel that served as the only entrance to the Weyr, and he cringed at what he saw. C'olt looked over at Arktos.
Things were about to become dire indeed.
---------------------------------------------------------
B'ren, meanwhile, had crept his way forward until he reached the front entry to where G'rett was being held hostage. The two groups he had chosen to accompany ran into two scared teenagers - Green Riders - but the Brown Rider was quicker on the draw, warning them both to be silent but to accompany them. Clearly, the youths were supposed to be watching the front entry to G'rett's weyr, but for some reason they weren't, but were obviously fearful of these new arrivals.
B'ren started a quiet thirty-count to give the other group enough time to act, but when he spotted someone walking by he hissed quietly at the others with him and motioned them into the shadows. Another Rider, probably twenty turns older than he. The knots on the stranger's shoulders told B'ren it was a Brown Rider, and that could spell trouble for everyone. Once the man left, giving no indication he was aware of the groups' presence, B'ren silently stood up and followed his prey. Creeping just inside the front door, he crouched and waited again, unsheathing his long knives and holding them in a reverse grip.
Q'del came charging in from the ledge and dove at the rogue Brown Rider, who tried to twist out of the Weyrsecond's attack. One of the Green Riders from Group 5 - Tess' group - likewise tried to charge the bald-headed woman. It was time to act. Looking over his shoulder at his own group, B'ren gave a shrill whistle, giving them the order to move in. It was a good thing he opted to keep those two youths alive...
The scoundrel quickly made his move, rising to his feet and swiftly ran in before assuming a fighting stance, his face cold. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, friend," he said menacingly to the other Brown Rider. "The name's B'ren of Brown Chiath, and my friends and I are here to bring our Wingleader G'rett and his Bronze Coth home. Whom you stole from us. Now, why don't you be a reasonable chap and lower your weapons?"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C'pher caught sight of C'olt cringing, and he, too, looked. What appeared to be a dark cloud slowly resolved itself into many dragons, and their approaching flight pattern told the Blue Rider everything he needed to know.
The battle was about to begin.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
K'ain mounted up on Joreth, then gave the signal for all Riders to go airborne. Once everyone was accounted for, the self-styled ruler ordered his Brown to have everyone go between and back into the Weyr. It took only a few moments to move through the cold, black void of nothingness, and almost immediately the gaping maw of the entrance lay before them. K'ain and Joreth led the way and spiraled down into the main part of the Weyr, and no sooner than he dismounted he heard several shouts then the clash of metal upon metal from one of the upper ledges. He squinted to get a better look. What was going on?
"Lord K'ain! My Lord! We have intruders!" One of the Blue Riders who had landed first was shouting down from his ledge. K'ain curled his fists into balls and he tensed, seething with anger. First he had three of his trusted Riders disobey his orders, and now this? Intruders? Who were they, and how did they find their lair? He howled with anger and dismay. His day was ruined, absolutely ruined!
"To arms! Find those responsible for bringing these intruders and bring them to me! All others who resist, give no quarter!" K'ain shouted, then strode towards his personal quarters to retrieve his own sword and dagger. He never had the need to use them in combat until now. Perhaps now they would be stained with the blood of those who dared to defy him: these intruders and that of Raziela, Z'zak, and El'dan.

Kiyoni followed Arktos as they made their way inside. She wished the young ones would just surrender. She hated to think about them being hurt for some stupid reason. They seemed too young to really realize what was going on. The search rider watched around her as they crept closer, making sure no one else was coming.
~~~
Randy led her team toward the other side of the weyr. She wasn't sure how much resistance they would get, but she was going to stay on her toes no matter what. She didn't want to chance any of her group getting injured.
Ransk snorted softly as she looked around. The wher would protect her handler at all costs. No one would get near her. At least not if she could help it.
~~~~
Tanly followed B'ren, although she made sure not to get in his way as she moved to attack one of the riders. The green rider stopped in surprise when she saw the young red rider. She hadn't expected the girl to be so young. But then again, after she had seen the guards it shouldn't have to surprised her. Tanly had to wonder though if this was the girl's first flight and if so she felt awful for the girl. No one should have to suffer something like this.
~~~
T'tarel stayed close to C'olt. He saw that the young Healer had a syringe in hand, but the bronze rider would make sure he had C'olt's back. One never knew what could happen. And he had been right. Of course none of them realized the others had returned yet or what kind of a fight they were soon to find themselves in.
~~~
Meera fingered her staff as she followed M'lym and Sanrev. She was a bit jumpy, but felt better when Vanlith was allowed to move closer. The green moved as quietly as she could.
~~~
El'dan stared in shock when Q'del and B'ren charged into the weyr. He looked over at his friend. "No!" he cried and was just about to get up when Tyverith stopped him.
Trouble, the blue said. The others return.
El'dan's face paled. "No," he whispered, getting to his feet. He had to try to stop anyone from getting too close to Kanly's weyr. He knew Z'zak could handle himself and protect Kanly. He wasn't so sure Raziale would be much help in her state of mind with the Flight, but maybe just maybe if he could hold the others off long enough for the flight to end his friends would be alright. Of course he knew he could be on a suicide mission as he crept through the shadows, trying to gauge where the other riders would be.
M'lym ran up the hill after Sanrev. It was good that he trained so vigorously with his Wing, or a sprint like this might be hard on a man of his age. As it was, it was no piece of cake. I need to lay off the bubbly pies, he thought to himself as he ran. He heard another challenge and looked up, seeing a brown entering the chase. It looked like the leader of this group of rebels had some dissent within the ranks. That would only make their job easier.
R'il groaned as he regained consciousness. His head was throbbing, and his arm hurt from falling on it as he crashed to the ground. He blinked, gasping as the light hit his eyes and went straight to his head. The greenrider squinted his eyes closed again, trying to orient himself. He could feel the solid form of another rider tied to his back, probably the other guard.
R'il! Why do you hurt? They hurt you! Therindeth's panicked voice burst into his mind, and he winced. Slowly, he opened his eyes again, looking at the woman that was tying him up. Shh, Therindeth. It's all right, he told the green, lying for her sake. "Wh-what is going on? Did Lord K'ain order this?" he asked timorously. It didn't make any sense, but K'ain wasn't known for sensible orders.
Tanyrth pulled up as he saw the Red doing the same, being careful to avoid the ground. Her zigzag was throwing him off, though, and he worked his wings to follow her, trumpeting in dismay as she repeatedly changed directions just as he had began to gain on her. Finally, he wised up and headed straight down the middle of her side-to-side path. As she looped lackadaisically, he kept an eye on her, his intention being to stay straight and thereby gain on her. Wrong. She shot upwards in a tight spiral and he growled his displeasure before arranging his muscles so as to follow her. He wasn't playing around. The bronze and the brown were larger and faster than he was, but he had more agility. He had to respond quicker so he could claim the beauty for his own!
Raziela's gaze flickered to the man who was loudly struggling to be free of his bonds, disdain evident on her fine features. For all her baldness, she was still a stunning beauty. Not that many people got past the lack of hair. The blueriding woman turned at the girl's startled yelp, eyes narrowing as she caught sight of Z'zak. She didn't like having competition, especially from the man who was K'ain's right-hand man. He had helped the corrupted brownrider rule them like they were little more than children. Though she supposed over half her numbers were mere children. Pah!
Raziela's body felt heated with the roaming stare she received from the bronzerider. Unfortunately, she couldn't quite echo the sentiment, far too lost in her blue's lust to even think of him as anything more than competition. And Kanly wasn't so much a young woman as a beautiful red prize. One which she would win! Suddenly the room erupted into chaos as a man went for Z'zak and someone else grabbed the bronzerider. She was just about to turn when she heard a footstep a few feet away from her. Reacting quickly out of training instinct alone, she leapt to the side, then took a quick step back. It didn't entirely put her out of harm's way, however, and a hard body slid past her shoulder, momentarily knocking her off balance. In the moment that followed, she struggled to regain equilibrium as Tanyrth bugled at her distress, and when she regained her footing, she had a beltknife in her hands and a wild look in her eyes.
