((to Flight/Meera))
Iverasth knew the moment when Chandrath rejected him. He gave a roar of frustration and swerved away from the Flight, diving down to the ground. He landed on the floor of the weyrbowl, his claws dragging across the floor as he tried to vent his anger and disappointment. He couldn't believe that Chandrath had ignored him in favor of two young, unworthy bronzes. Snapping at passersby, he turned his mind to his rider, hoping that M'lym would do something to distract them both.
M'lym felt his dragon's frustration coursing through him, as well as pent up lust. He turned on a heel and strode out of the weyr, gritting his teeth. He thought he deserved the Weyrleaders position, but in the end it was the Gold who chose. Outside, he paused to take a deep breath of fresh air. He wanted to calm down a little bit before he went to look for Meera.
((To C'olt))
Kia sighed and took C'olt's arm, letting him lead her away from the weyr. She knew she was probably being irrationally jealous at the moment, and that it was best if none of them gave in to Flight lust. She couldn't be expected to help acting this way when she was dealing with both Flight emotions and pregnancy hormones, though!
"I don't know...maybe we should think of a puzzle to work through, or do some math equations together. Anything to get out mind off of what is actually happening," she suggested as they walked down to the barracks. If wine was enough to land the three of them in bed together, she wasn't sure how they could resist Flightlust, but they had to try.
((to M'thos))
E'lon sensed the blue weyrling's hesitation, and he wished he could disappear into a hole in the floor. He had been way too forward, hadn't he? What if people thought he was preying on a younger weyrling? E'lon felt his face grow hot as he blushed. "I..." began, getting ready to apologize. Then, M'thos said yes.
The blush disappeared, replaced by the goofy grin shared by all teenage boys who have just been informed that they're about to get lucky. "Well, then..." How was he supposed to act suave? He bent forward and kissed M'thos on the lips, just a quick peck, even though he wanted more. "Should we go somewhere more private?" He offered his hand to M'thos, wondering if they should find a Flight weyr, or go back to the barracks, or just hide out in a dark corner of the kitchen. How far were they going to take this? That was if the Flightlust even let them have a choice in the matter.
((To Kyler))
V'lain had to move. He got up and stretched, still keeping his eyes on Osirith. Focusing on the black dragon helped him keep his mind off of the Flight. The emotions were growing more intense, and he couldn't ignore the fact that more and more weyrlings were leaving to pair off.
He looked up from his dragon for a moment and saw Kyler walking around. It looked like she wasn't giving in to the Flight yet either. "How are you doing?" he asked her, his voice cracking slightly. It took surprising effort just to talk to a girl without getting distracted.

Chandrath looked back in surprise. Neither bronze had tried to grab her, though they had both followed. It appeared even dragons could be gentlemen, just as the riders were being down in the weyr. Truthfully it was a little frustrating, their lack of boldness, but the decision now rested with her alone. And the Queen felt the tiring of her wings along with an intensifying of her lust, it must be now. She spun back to face them, wanting one last look before choosing.
As she faced the bronzes she felt a tendril of thought from her lifemate and knew suddenly what the decision must be, and perhaps should have been all along. She spoke for his ears alone, her tone oddly gentle. Reloith, would you fall with me? Then she folded her wings and dropped like a stone, trusting that he would catch her.
Cybele felt a lifting of weight from her chest that made the crest of her desire rise even higher as she took a step towards T'tarel and reached out her hand almost tentatively.
*******
Quindara ignored as best she could the other weyrlings as they walked by, despite the way her body throbbed with quashed passions and instead concentrated on the images from Shadow, though even the black firelizard seemed to have a little trouble concentrating. In any case, she saw Coth rejected, fury written in every line of his body and she stood. Casting a last look at Artemth, she made to leave the Barracks and practically crashed into G'rett as he was coming in. He kissed her and she surrendered to his kiss, nearly going limp as she finally let go of her control. But she didn't want to be here, in the Barracks. There was certainly nothing like privacy and she did not want an audience. Taking one of his hand's in hers she smiled, her eyes smoldering. "Lets go to your weyr."
******
M'thos felt his breath catch in his throat at the gentle kiss. He realized he'd never been kissed by anyone before...at least not in a romantic sense. He nodded weakly to E'lon, amazed at the variety of sensations in his body. "I don't know where though," he added breathlessly. His body said anywhere, including right here on the floor would do just fine, but his mind was still in charge for the moment and he knew he didn't want anyone gawking at him, but he didn't know the weyr very well. "We could go...into one of the harper's classrooms," he gulped. "No one would be in there now." All the children were either in the creche or escorted out of the weyr during Flights, he did know.
********
He smiled and brushed Kiyoni's cheek with his hand. "You as well, beloved. But lets not think of that now," Arktos whispered. The losses were still too near. Though they'd been no one he''d known very well, the keening of the dragons had pierced his heart still, reminding of him when a time when they had keened his loss to the heavens. He pulled Kiyoni closer, for comfort as much as for the desire that leaped up within him. But the feel of her hands upon him and his lips on hers were enough to drive away all dark thoughts and he slid his hands under the fabric of her tunic, her skin like silk against his roughened hands. A sigh of contentment escaped him and he began to guide her towards the bed.

{{To M'lym}}
Vanlith informed Meera of Iversath's dropping out. The green rider felt bad for the handsome bronze, but happy at the same time. She got up and decided to see if M'lym was anywhere close by. She figured he was probably upset, but she didn't want to chance him being caught by himself or running into someone else. She wanted him for herself. She knew that probably seemed selfish, but she didn't care.
~~~~
{{To B'ren}}
Tanly was still just laying on the couch when B'ren returned. Before she even got a chance to respond he kissed her passionately. The girl melted in his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck, not thinking about her wrist or his injuries. All that mattered was him. And he was there now. Her heart was pounding as she pressed against him.
~~~~
{{To Arktos}}
Kiyoni nodded. "Alright, let's not talk about it." She didn't want to talk anyhow. They could talk later. Right now there were too many emotions running through her body from the flight and her need for her mate. She was so glad she was able to give into those feelings with someone she loved this time. The search rider tangled her fingers in his hair as he kissed her. "Mmm," she mumbled against his lips, shivering as his calloused hands touched her bare back. She smiled through the kiss as he moved them toward the bed. All their injuries were forgotten for the moment.
~~~
{{To V'zee}}
Randy was getting restless. She knew the flight was nearing its end and she still hadn't seen V'zee. Although she knew Kyanath had a tendency of holding out to the the very end. Ransk would have been able to tell her what was happening, but Randy didn't want to wake her wher just yet. She giggled softly at Vikki's antics though. "Thanks, Vikki. You're trying."
~~~
Reloith watched Chandrath's glowing hide. His wings were starting to burn and he knew if she didn't make a choice soon he'd have to drop out. Although he really hated to have to do that. The lovely gold deserved everything they could give her. He didn't take his eyes off her as he judged what his next move should be.
The bronze watched as Chandrath turned to face them. I would follow you anywhere dear Chandrath, the bronze crooned, folding his wings. He snapped his wings open in time to catch Chandrath and twine his neck with hers. He would make sure she got the flight she deserved.
T'tarel was nearly knocked off his feet when he felt the sudden surge of emotions from his bronze as he caught Chandrath. The young man turned his eyes toward Cybele, reaching out to take her hand in his. He pulled her gently into his arms. "Let's bring them home," he whispered before he kissed her gently at first but then more passionately.

{{To Randael}}
Kyanath pulled up just a little when Chandrath spun back around, his wings protesting against the momentum change. She seems to zero in on Reloith and the little bronze started to follow her drop, but pulled back when he felt the decision drift through his link with his rider that she had chosen the bigger bronze. He stayed in the chase just a moment more, just in case, before he noted the other dragon make the catch. With a merry bugle, like it had been just a game, the little burnished bronze, dropped from the skies in a free fall before opening his wings to slow his descent and glide to his ledge, landing tiredly and plopping down on his belly, wings outspread and legs tucked haphazardly. He was tired after that chase! He stuck his head into the rider's quarters, multifaceted eyes tired but still merry and crooned at the occupants.
V'zee saw the catch through his dragon's eyes and the connection between Cybele and T'tarel. His dragon had lost again, but a smile touched his face as he stumbled his way out of the weyr, instinctively heading toward his own weyr where someone waited for him...
Vikki crooned softly before the flight ended and suddenly took wing again restlessly. His Pet was back on the ground again. And there was Kyanath's head to tell him he had lost! His Pet would make Randael happy again!
{{To V'lain}}
Sunil had taken to flitting between his Pet and his Cousin as she paced the Barracks, the blue dipping this way and that with cheery trills. Kyler looked quickly, startled that someone had spoken to her. The dragonhealer's hazel eyes rested on her fellow Weyrling in attention and it took her several moments to process what he had just said to her. These flights were crazy. She supposed her own Nyxith's Risings would be worse because they were connected, but she had not realized the effects of a gold dragon's flight. "I'm," she began before getting tongue-tied moment. Another few moments flitted by before she finally spoke clearly enough, shoving her hands in her pockets to hide her fidgeting from V'lain. "I'm okay. How are you?" she asked with force calm. He was cute. Did she just think that? Kyler, get your head straight, she thought to herself.
{{To A'ren}}
K'kaar had made his way to the Dining Cavern for the duration of the flight. It always amused him at the activity he saw there when a gold took to the skies. His lovely Gemith had Risen just the day before, taking wing in the dawn's mist this time around. She never Rose at the same time of day twice in a row. So, Chandrath's lust was not very bothersome as he sat, sipping on some cinnamon flavored klah with a grin on his face, facing the entrance with his back to most of the Cavern. Folk usually did not make it very far inside before they paired off with someone. He watched a pair of Weyrlings take the first steps toward flightlust with a chuckle and waited to see if there might end up being someone to talk to by the flight's end. Only time would tell...

((To Kia and Lyrensa))
C’olt shook his head and simply snuggled Kia for a moment, leaning in to kiss her on the cheek before giving her a reassuring grin. “We’ll see what we can do,” he said. “Although I don’t know if Lyrensa will be agreeable to finding an alternative to keep her mind off of what’s going on.” He then escorted Kia into the Weyrling Barracks, and then ducked his head inside just as G’rett met up with Quindara. C’olt had to shake his head over that one. As much as Flightlust was starting to work on his brain and his body, the Healer knew the Wingleader had lost this Flight and therefore would expend all of that pent-up emotion and energy on the Queen Weyrling. He almost felt sorry for the girl, but there wasn’t anything he could do about it.
“Lyrensa, it’s us,” he called to his fellow Healer. “C’olt and Kia. You want to get out of here?”
----------------------------------------
((To Quindara))
G’rett nibbled on Quindara’s lips for a moment as she surrendered to him, then took him by the hand and indicated she wanted to go to his weyr. “You mean our weyr,” G’rett replied lustily. “And I never thought you’d ask.” Ensuring his hand was firmly entwined with that of his lover’s, the Wingleader practically ran out of the Weyrling Barracks, past C’olt and Kia and out into the Bowl. Stopping only for a moment, G’rett reached down and lifted Quindara into his arms, and double-timed it to the sanctity of his personal quarters. Once safely inside, he stripped out of his tunic, then made his way over to his bed, wanting to pull Quindara on top of him before resuming his kisses.
-----------------------------------------
((To Tanly))
B’ren pulled away briefly to peel off his tunic, exposing his chest and stomach before he leaned back in again, lying on his back and pulling Tanly on top of him. He honestly didn’t care if they shared this Flight on the couch, and the bulge in his breeches was evident of just how badly he was affected by Flightlust. B’ren’s body practically screamed for a release, and only his weyrmate could help him with that. He started to pull at the fabric enveloping Tanly’s body, wanting to see her in all her glory once again before he had his way with her.
-----------------------------------------
((To Kikikaa))
C’pher turned when someone called out to him, only to see it was Kikikaa. His voice was nearly lost within the tears he had to fight back. “No…” The Searchrider made his way over to the Green Rider, and he practically collapsed in her arms, then he looked up into her face, his eyes wanting to search hers. “Help me heal this pain in my heart. Please. I want to be loved…I want to know what it’s like to be loved again…” C’pher wanted this young woman standing in front of him to have her way with him. He’d lost Mia, but if Kikikaa was willing he would graciously welcome her into his arms and into his heart.

{{To V'zee}}
Randy jumped a little when Kyanath poked his head into the weyr. The young woman's eyes lit up. If Kyanath was back then that meant V'zee had lost. She was quickly on her feet and racing for the door. She didn't care about the faint head aches that still plagued her from time to time. She knew what V'zee would be like and she wanted to be there for him.
~~~~
{{To B'ren}}
Tanly laughed as B'ren pulled back long enough to get out of his shirt. The green rider smiled as he pulled her onto the couch. She hadn't let the flight lust take her totally until B'ren had come back. But now she wasn't holding back. He was there and that's what mattered. The green rider moved her arms, allowing him to get her shirt off. She could tell that he needed this and she planned on helping him.
~~~
{{To M'lym}}
Meera quietly looked around the Weyr. She knew M'lym had to be around somewhere. She didn't want the poor bronze rider to have to face this loss by himself. Although she hadn't thought that he might want to be by himself.
"M'lym?" she called when she finally caught sight of him. She didn't want to scare him.

{{To Randael}}
V'zee stumbled his way to his weyr, the ache in his healing arm hardly noticed as he knew where he wanted to be. Kyanath's cheerfulness at losing only subdued the worst of the little bronze's merry lust and so the dark-haired rider was able to avoid bumping into someone along the way to stall him from getting to his mate. Reaching the door to his weyr, he went to push it open, but Randy had already done that for him, allowing him to take her in his arms with a deep kiss. "I'm sorry, Love," he whispered huskily when he pulled back enough to look into her beautiful dark green eyes. If only she could share in these heightened feelings when his dragon took wing after the ladies...
{{To C'pher}}
Kikikaa had about opened her mouth to console the bluerider when he nearly threw himself into her arms, stirring up those feelings she had been trying so desperately to keep under control. Too late as her emerald eyes met his rich hazels. A brief moment of struggle crossed her mind at what she should do, but the damage had been done when she had reactively put her arms around him at his sudden advance, even though it was one of sorrow versus flightlust. Driven by Chandrath's lust, the greenrider gave C'pher a kiss on the forehead, heeding his words. "My weyr's right here," she told him, turning enough to move toward the door to her weyr, one arm still around the Searchrider, Trouble and Treasure disappearing Between to go within, knowing that their Pet was following shortly. She was rarely lucky enough to make it to her weyr during a gold flight...

{{To V'zee)
Randy was almost crying when V'zee met her at the door. She had been so worried that Kyanath would win this Flight. She knew V'zee loved her, but it still made it hard. The young woman leaned into his kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck, all injuries forgotten for the time being. She shook her head. "You're here now," she whispered. That's all that mattered. There were times she wished she had a dragon that his bronze could chase, but she would never trade Ransk.

{{To Randael}}
The bronzerider gave his mate another kiss before picking her up to carry her to their bed. He would try to hold back the lust enough for her to enjoy it as well. He just hoped that he would not be too rough with her. That always worried him when Kyanath lost the numerous flights he participated in. Laying her down, his hands strayed to her clothing to try to get it off as he kept up the passion stirred from his bronze.

{{To V'zee}}
Randy smiled and returned his kiss. She chuckled and wrapped her arms around his neck when he picked her up. She was never worried about him hurting her. He was always more then gentle and she knew he would be again. She lay her head against him as he headed for their room. Randy smiled up at him and touched his cheek.

Cybele let herself be pulled into T'tarel's arms, relishing that support and comfort as much as she did his smell and the lean hardness of his body. She felt, in the small core of herself undisturbed by the fires of lust, that things were suddenly right again. Then his lips met hers and she forgot everything for a while.
*****
Quindara's peal of laughter rang out against the stone walls of the weyr as G'rett picked her up and practically jogged to his weyr with her. It was nice to have some joy again, after all the fear. He set her on her feet as soon as they were inside, stripping off his tunic faster even then she could do it for him and leading her towards the bed. She let herself be pulled down on top of him, the hot skin of his chest under her hands. She reached up with hand to caress his cheek in a sudden tender moment, still amazed and grateful that he was here and alive, but her body burned for him too and she soon was kissing him passionately.
*****
Arktos felt something between a hiss and a groan of pleasure escape him as Kiyoni ran her fingers through his hair. He fell into their bed, pulling her down beside him and ignoring the angry squawk of a dislodged Forge. Sliding her tunic over her head, he regarded her with undisguised lust and wonder before pulling her into a passionate kiss. His hands were gentle but sure on her body, for them there was no need to rush, but he still wanted to take in all of her, as if it was his dying day, because he now realized how close it had been.
