Elliwodth watched the males with pleasure. She had gotten them down to three. Not bad if she said so herself. And she was impressed that Kaitoth had held on so long. She seemed to laugh as she watched Coth and Iverasth. She couldn't recall the last time she had seen two bronzes trying to be agile.
You both are very tricky, she told the bronzes. As are you, Kaitoth. She wanted the blue to know that she appreciated his trying.
She caught the collision out of the corner of her eye, but she was too caught up in her flight to pay attention to see if the two dragons were okay. Her wings were starting to burn and she still hadn't quite decided who she wanted to choose. Alright, boys, here goes!
Elliwodth dove straight down and instantly reversed to fly up through the two bronzes. If either of them wanted to try to catch her now was the time. She'd at least give them a chance.
Kiyoni gasped as she saw Kaitoth's collision, but she was rooted to the ground by her dragon's lust and couldn't even make sure the blue was okay. She'd have to try to remember to ask later.

Coth watched as Kaitoth practically collided with a Brown that had long since fallen out of competition, and snorted in disgust. The Bronze never did think too highly of the smaller Blue as he felt Kaitoth took far too many risks instead of continually analyzing the situation and adjusting accordingly. That wasn't his problem now. There was only him and Iverasth, and Coth wasn't about to give up easily. Elliwodth gave them both fair warning, diving straight down then reversing her dive into a climb, rocketing between them, daring one of them to be quicker on the draw.
The younger Bronze struck first, climbing just as the Green shot skyward and kept pace with her just long enough for him to spiral around her and grasp her talons with his. He crooned in victory. Got you![/i]
G'rett could hardly notice Tesni race out of the room as his own thoughts were elsewhere, now deep into dragon lust. The moment he knew Coth made his move to catch Elliwodth, M'lym and Iverasth would be out of the competition. A surge of triumph raced through him, and he stepped forth to claim his prize. G'rett took the Searchrider into his arms, leaned her over so he could look her in her eyes, and just before he pressed his lips against hers he uttered a single word.
"Mine."

Elliwodth was slightly surprised by how fast Coth had moved, but she crooned and twined her neck with his, letting him carry them. Well played, Coth, she crooned. You are worthy.
Kiyoni shuttered just a little as she felt Coth make the catch and Elliwodth's flood of emotions hit her like a tidal wave. She closed her eyes briefly to try to get her bearings back, but she quickly opened them as she felt G'rett take her in his arms. She smiled.
"All yours," she whispered.
