This may come as a surprise considering that I just said I was coming back, but I have decided to retire from Nova. I have two main reasons for this, both related to the fact that I just don't have enough time. First, during NaNoWriMo I remembered how much I enjoy doing my own writing, not just composing RP posts. I often feel like RPing takes up too much time, and it begins to seem like a chore. Second, I am taking another long absence in a couple of weeks, and I wouldn't be surprised if more absences pop up in the future. It's just ridiculous to play my characters for 2 weeks, leave, come back again, leave again, and so on.
As for my characters. You can adopt them out if you'd like. Kia especially is close to my heart, but I trust the people here to do a good job with my characters. If you wish to kill them off, Kia can easily die during childbirth, and M'lym could die during Threadfall. Rendel can be NPCed easily enough, and E'lon and V'lain's dragons could be adopted out if you don't want to offer the characters themselves up for adoption. I've been on the other end of this situation before, and I know how much a person leaving can mess up your character's plots, so I hope that a solution can be found that satisfies all parties.
Let me say that this is NOT because of any of the people here, or the quality of the site, or anything like that. It's not you, it's me, as they say.

You will be sorely missed. I'll get with the rest of the staff members to discuss how to handle your characters accordingly. But, do keep in touch?
