T’tarel isn’t what you would call handsome, but he is far from ugly. His crystal like eyes are by far his best feature, at least according to him. They’re always shining, whether out of curiosity or sympathy for someone. He’s not as tall as what most riders usually are. He’s actually skinner then his mother would like, but he’s not so skinny that he looks sickly. T’tarel usually wears earthen colored clothes, mainly browns and blacks. He usually keeps a belt knife on him, just in case. He wears a small green colored stone on a leather strap around his neck.
personality: T’tarel is a definite book worm. He will talk to anyone who is willing to listen to what he has discovered in the old hides. He will take charge when the need arises, but is also willing to listen to what others have to say. He thinks it is only fair to see everyone’s view before making a decision. This bronze rider is usually very calm and collected. It takes quite a bit to get him riled enough to the point of him losing his temper. He will talk to anyone, but only has a few very close friends. He doesn’t take friendship very lightly and is very loyal to the ones he cares for and respects. He lost a lot of friends to cloudlung and refuses to take the friends he still has for granted.
History: Tigitarel, usually called Tig by the ones who know him, was actually born at Nova Weyr, even though his mother is a Harper. His father died before he was born, so his mother took the assignment at the Weyr.
Tig was a pretty normal, happy-go-lucky child. He would play just about any game imaginable with the other children, but his favorite time of day was lessons with his mother. Tig loved learning new things. As soon as he was able to read, he was finding old hides at the Weyr that he could study. He would get ideas from his findings, then try them out on the other youngsters.
Tig was usually the most level headed out of the ones close to his age. He loved to think logically and was usually good at breaking up fights. His mother had to track him down in the old archives more then once.
When cloudlung became prevalent Tig lost a few close friends and spent endless nights crying. He had also lost his best friend, Silya, who he had deep feelings for to cloudlung. He was so afraid that he would lose his mother as well that he was constantly with her after Silya’s death during his 16th Turn.
Tig had always wanted to a Harper like his mother, but during his 16th Turn, his mother finally convinced him to stand on the sands. To Tig’s surprise he Impressed a bronze dragonet.
His life really didn’t change much after that. If he wasn’t feeding or oiling Reloith, he was reading old hides. Tig, now T’tarel, loved being a dragonrider. He’s just a wingrider at the moment, but he always tried to help his wingleader. He even gives his wingleader some kindly advice to help prepare the wing better.
During T'tarel's 23rd Turn he was in for another drastic change. Reloith flew Gold Chandrath and made the young bronze rider Weyrleader. T'tarel hopes he is up for the challenge and secretly hopes to get closer to Cybele. He has always respected her and wanted to really get to know her. He now has the chance and he will do his best not to mess up.
T'tarel also bought a firelizard egg from a passing Trader. He knew Cybele had said that Argent may let him have an egg, but he just couldn't pass up the opportunity of buying an egg. Then to his surprise the egg hatched into a black. T'tarel is doing his best to train the little black.

physical description: Reloith is a dark bronze color. He almost appears black in certain lights. He has a finally defined head and his eyes are usually whirling a soft blue. He’s got some lighter bronze color swirled into his hide. He almost seems to have a stripe of dark bronze running down his spine. His wing membranes are a very light bronze color, almost transparent. He’s about medium sized for a bronze, but very well proportioned.
personality: Reloith is a lot like his rider. He’s very easy going and takes orders without any problems. He also has a tendency to correct blues or greens when they step out of line. T’tarel has had to caution him about that a few times. Reloith is very fun loving. He loves to play tricks on T’tarel. His favorite past time is hiding things so that his rider can’t find them.
Pets:
Image is about average in size for his color, maybe even a bit on the small size. He's very slender, almost wispy and frail- looking, but is actually quite healthy and strong, and very quick for his color. His hide is a sooty mottled dull gray and black as if he'd rolled in the ashes of a hearth fire.
He seems to be a bright firelizard if a bit on the quiet side. He's curious but it's tempered with enough caution to keep him out of serious trouble. For a fire lizard, he's quite shy and tends to stick close to his pet when he is around strangers. In fact he's a little cowardly, not as protective as most blacks and likes to hide under T'tarel's collar when he is frightened. However, he is affectionate and quite devoted, and will pro ably become an able and obedient Hellers as he grows.
