"How kind of you dear sir," Calyssa giggled, slipping her arm through his. She could definitely get used to this. She followed Jaysen's gaze and saw the green rider sitting on the shore. She hadn't had a chance to meet Kiyoni yet. Tesni had Searched them after all. She looked up at Jaysen at his question. "Umm, I have no idea. I'm not sure what I'm going to wear. Maybe I'll put my red rust dress on. It's comfortable enough." And she wasn't planning on needing to wear pants for anything.
Storm trilled happily. He listened to Misty's song for a few seconds before joining in himself. He liked this new idea of "singing." Calyssa laughed as she listened to them. Between the flits and Jaysen they were fun to listen to.

A twinkle came to Jaysen's eye as Calyssa mentioned she would probably wear her red dress. Hmmm... He had to think about what he would wear that would be suitable yet not clash. A darker shade of red, perhaps? A deep copper? That probably wouldn't be so bad, copper on black. He'd have to think about it some more. Misty was still enthralled with Storm trilling in harmony with her. At least now she wouldn't be so bored.
The barracks were just ahead when the drum tower sounded the mark. Jaysen looked up, his expression suggesting surprise, then he sighed with disappointment. "It's a good thing we're close enough to the barracks," he said wistfully. "I'll probably go with a copper-colored tunic and dark breeches. I'd hate to clash with what you're wearing." Leaning over to kiss Calyssa on her cheek, he gently embraced it with his hand before reluctantly letting go. "I'll see you in the Dining Cavern in a short while, Calyssa." Misty likewise chittered her disappointment, then the pair disappeared into the males' side of the barracks.

Calyssa walked happily beside Jaysen. She had no idea he was thinking of what to wear. She was just enjoying the company and wishing it wasn't so late already. She wanted to spend more time with him Shards, she thought. I've definitely fallen for him. Storm continued to sing along with Misty until the gold stopped. He looked over at the gold with whirling eyes.
The candidate frowned when she heard the time. "Shards," she mumbled. "Is it really that late?" She was reluctantly to leave Jaysen's company. Even though they would see each other shortly. "That sounds nice," she said, looking up at him. A soft flush colored her cheeks at his light kiss and touch. "I'll see you soon," she agreed. Storm trilled softly as he watched Misty have to leave. Calyssa watched them disappear before hurrying into the female barracks.
