Here at Nova Weyr, we will have no posting requirements to obtain a ranker, though consistent posting will be a contributing factor, once we have posts to be counting. When you want to apply for a ranker, and you are a new member, you'll need to PM me with a 250 word writing sample. This CAN be from another group, just please don't cheat. I only want to get an idea of what your writing level is. If you've been a member for a while and have more than five good-sized posts to your name, you can just ask for a rank, either for an existing character or a new one. You'll probably get it. Note: a bronzerider is not a rank by itself! There is also no limit to the number of characters you can have. However, if you don't post with them, you'll be asked to cut back.

Weyrleader- bronzerider only at this time
will be decided by open flight IC, OOC wise, you'll need to be an active member who writes really well. Also a desire to be on the BoD would be a big plus.
responsibilities: leads the High Altitude Flight in Threadfall, manages the wings and administers rider discipline, leads Council meetings.

Solstice(mid right):bronze
Eclipse(mid left):bronze
Aphelion(low forward) :bronze- Flightleader of Luna Flight
Perihelion(low right): bronze or brown
Nadir(low left):bronze or brown
Wingleaders must have five turns experience in a wing. They run drills and take the lead during Threadfall. Manage the training and discipline of their wing.

Meteor Shower(high forward): bronze, brown
Comet Tail(high left): bronze, brown
Stardust(high right): bronze, brown
Equinox(mid forward):bronze, brown, blue
Solstice(mid right):bronze, brown, blue

Perihelion(low right): brown, blue
Nadir(low left): brown, blue
Wingseconds must have two turns experience in a wing. Takes over for wingleader if they are injured, helps maintain discipline while being trained by wingleader for higher rank.

Wingthirds must have six months experience in a wing. Wingthird is often given to young riders of large colors who need experience leading, or mature rider of small colors to allow them to help with training, or to share their extra experience without the burden of having to fly a whole Fall.
Assistant weyrling master (2, 1 female, 1 male):
a rider of any color out of weyrling training at least five turns
active member: participates in all weyrling training threads
Assistant candidate master(2, 1 female, 1 male):
a rider, or former rider of any color with at least 3 turns riding experience.
active member, participates in all candidate class threads as well as assists in checking in candidates and consoling remaining candidates post-Hatching
Lord Holders and craftmasters: All are up for grabs!
