G'fal got up and stretched. He grinned. Another start to a perfect day. Today he would be working with the newest batch of weyrlings. He couldn't wait. It wouldn't be long before his other class graduated. And now he would get a chance to work with the new colors even more. They had been interesting and he was enjoying it immensely.
Treoth, could ask everyone to meet me down at the lake? I know they're all going to be hungry, he requested of his brown. Hence the reason he and Kikikaa had already cut up the meat for them.
Treoth yawned and stood up. Of course, he said, fluttering his wings. All young ones, he said to the newest bunch. Meet us at the lake. Treoth loved the young ones as much as his rider did. Peronith, we are going down to the lake. Meet us there. He turned to his rider. I called Peronith too.
G'fal grinned as he got dressed. Thanks, he told his brown as he finished getting ready and headed down to the lake to wait for the weyrlings.

Ranelli was awake before the call from Treoth came, the nagging hunger of Titaniath's belly would have been enough to make one go crazy. The bond that she shared with the silver, also made her well aware of every feeling that the Silver had.. and Titaniath's hunger ontop of her own, made Ranelli feel like her own stomach was a bottomless pit.. It didn't take long for the silver to respond when the call came for them to meet at the weyrling lake. The promise of food from Ranelli enough to make the young growing beast move as fast as her awkward stride would allow on the floor..

G'lar was awakened by Basalth's deep voice in his mind. Mine, Treoth's says we should meet him, in the Bowl. I do not know why this is, but I'm very hungry, so I hope there is food.
The young man groaned loudly,. It was much too early to be getting up in his opinion, but he could feel the black hatchling's gnawing hunger in his own belly. "Treoth's, G'fal, that is, is the Weyrling Master. He teaches us until you're full grown. I'm sure he'll have food." At the mention of food, Gear perked up and began to chitter at Basalth, which the dragon politely ignored. Meanwhile, G'lar pulled on a clean tunic and short pants, and slipped into his sandals.
What have we to learn? I am yours and you are Mine. That's all I need to know.
"Well, I have to learn how to take care of you first off. You'll need fed, bathed and oiled and there's a proper way to do it. And eventually we'll learn how to fly together." Running his fingers through his untidy mess of blond hair, he looked own at Basalth, who was contemplating this information. "Well, if you're hungry, let's go," he said, and they soon were out in the Bowl.
*********
I'on and Visioth had long been awake. The weyrling liked the quiet of the morning when few others were stirring, and it was nice to use the bathing chamber alone. Of course, he realized later that he might have to bathe again after lessons, but there was little to be done about that. When he was clean, and dressed in the grubbiest thing he owned, which unfortunately was still white, he went back to his cot. His little white was peering out the window intently, and I'on stood beside him, leaning on the sill. Mieu woke up and came to perch there as well, his high-pitched chittering disturbing the silence somewhat.
We must go down to the Bowl, Treoth says. I hope he has breakfast. the white said suddenly.
"Oh, I'm sure he will. Let's go then, because I'm hungry too," the young boy replied, and the boy, dragon and firelizard were soon walking out into the gravel- floored crater. The waterfall that poured from the main Weyrbowl above made a somewhat soothing rumbling in the background, as it fell into the smaller lake that was the weyrlings to use.
G'lar came out a moment later with Basalth, and I'on and Visioth greeted him. He was followed shortly by Fertilyth, Lirona running breathlessly after her.
Morning Basalth and Visioth. Mine said there'd be food here. Where is it? I'm really hungry.
Lirona panted as she reached I'on. "As soon as she heard there would be food, she ran out. I could barely catch her." The poor weyrling was barefoot, and clad in a rumpled pink tunic over black canvas shorts, and her hair was loose and wild. Clear,y she'd been in the middle of dressing.

R'vis slept soundly with Trig curled up beside him. The boy was still worn out from the previous day. Normally he was an early riser, but not today.
Pyrith on the other hand was up and hungry. The bronze looked over at his rider. He crept toward the bed and pounced on R'vis. Up! he said. I am hungry and Treoth says to come to the lake.
R'vis grunted under his bronze's weight and Trig cheeped indignantly. Alright, I'm up. Just let me get dressed.
The teen quickly got changed and headed out to the lake. Pyrith bounced around beside him. The bronze was hungry and ready for the day. R'vis glanced around for Shem and her lovely gray.

Mine, would you please get up? I am awful hungry, Garneth asked as she nuzzled her rider. Bresala opened her eyes part way. She smiled at her lovely red, but winced a little as she pulled the scratches on her face.
Alright, let's get you fed, love, she said, getting to her feet slowly. Bresala dressed quickly and led her red out to the Bowl. Garneth walked happily beside her. Hello Basalth, she crooned to the black.

Viarnie and Peridoth were already up. Viarnie was working on a quilt when Peridoth passed on the message. The green was bouncing around excitedly. She was looking forward to getting to see the others. Viarnie laughed and followed her lovely green.
Hello, Treoth, she said to the big brown. She then looked at her other clutchmates. Basalth! Visioth! Fertilyth,! she said excitedly. This would be fun!

The dim light of dawn played nicely with the very pale silver of Titaniath's hide, the silver metallic hide with it's blue tinge appeared to stand out brightly in the dim early morning sun. It wasn't overly warm out and Ranelli was glad of the warm tunic she had picked up before leaving the barracks. THere were other's from their clutch headed in the same direction as her and her young silver, but Titaniath didn't appear to care whether she walked with, or without anyone else.
They headed over as fast as Titaniath's awkward land pace would allow them, the silver experimenting with her pace and steps to see which way would aid her travels, she even experimented with having her wings streched and then semi folded to see if it would help with her balance..
