Dessa left Freedom at the stables. Her runner still wasn't a big fan of the dragons, but she was getting better since she had seen so many of them. Once Dessa was sure her runner was settled in, she went looking for her uncle.
If she knew him he would be somewhere with the weyrlings. So, that's where she headed. She had been to Nova enough times that she knew her way around and no one ever questioned her. The teenager looked around, seeing if she could spot Treoth somewhere. She smiled when she finally saw the familiar brown. She remembered all the times she had helped her uncle wash the brown and loved every minute of it.
Dessa stood quietly out of the way and listened to the lesson. She didn't understand everything that was being said, but she knew some of it. And she didn't want to disturb her uncle or the werylings. Although she did enjoy watching the werylings. It was fun studying the different colors. She'd have to ask her uncle how it had been teaching the new colors that they didn't know much about.

Unsurprisingly, it was Osirith that noticed someone stood outside the lesson quaters. The black, ever observant had noticed the moment that something strange had happened and then had spent the next few moments just watching.. or maybe you could call it stareing... the stranger stood outside the door. V'lain, not as observant as his dragon had been unaware of the person there, until he noticed the dragon fixate his gaze on something that wasn't the master, and the feelings of curiosty became noticable through the bond of dragon and rider. V'lain, in the months of being bonded to his black youngster had become very aware of the feelings of his dragon, and the things that the black did not say. V'lain felt it lead them to a stronger relationship.
When the dragons gaze did not falter and the curiosty levels did not change, the young boy himself looked towards the door way, but couldn't see himself. What had Osirith noticed? He wondered, trying to look harder, there must be something there...

Dessa shifted slightly in the doorway. Her uncle still hadn't noticed her and she had to smile. Sometimes he just wasn't real observant. Although she knew that he thought the world of his weyrlings. The girl glanced around at the weyrlings. She smiled when she caught the black watching her. Although she wondered what his rider thought. She cleared her throat.
G'fal jumped and looked up. His dark eyes widened. "Dessa!" he asked in surprise.
"Sorry for interrupting," the girl said.
"Nonsense. Class, this is my niece Dessa," he said, motioning the girl to come into the room.

Peronith had noticed the newcomer and watched her closely, deciding on whether she was harm or fortune toward the Weyrlings, telling her rider of her presence at about the same time that the girl made a sound to announce her arrival. She doesn’t look threatening, came the soft voice in her rider’s head as G’fal reacted to the visitor. Trouble zipped over to check her out, buzzing about her head a moment before returning to his Pet. *Girl smell nice!* came the flitter’s image into Kikikaa’s mind who only shook her head at her little bronze’s inquisitiveness.
C’nell turned to look at the visitor, Manwydath remaining quiet as he observed the girl a moment before turning his gaze back to his rider and the others. They were in the middle of learning something last he checked. C’nell waved a ‘hello’ with a smile before turning back around to pay attention to G’fal. He may be young, but he knew that he had always been destined to be a dragonrider and he was going to learn all that he could while he could.
Kyler turned away from G’fal once he introduced them to give the visitor a quick wave and a smile in greeting before turning back to pay attention to her Master. Every Lesson was important and she did not want to miss a thing. Nyxith just turned her head enough to see the visitor before turning her head back to resting on her forepaws. She was bored with this Lesson, but it was important to Hers and so she would quietly wait until they could go and she could do what she wanted to do.
Danuth’s head swiveled in much the same fashion as her rider did at the introduction of the visitor. Just what was she doing interrupting her rider’s learnings? With a soft snort of disgust, she continued to gaze at the girl as if she were a threat to her or Hers. Yes, the grassy green was in a bad mood at the moment, the result of boredom her rider had concluded. E’lon waved with a cheery smile at Dessa before returning his attention to G’fal. A Lesson was a Lesson afterall and it deserved his attention.

Dessa giggled softly when the little bronze flitted around her head. She loved the firelizards too and they had such unique personalities in her opinion. She returned a couple waves. At least most didn't seem to mind that she had interrupted their class. Although she could see a couple of them that did. She looked at her uncle. "I could go wait in your office or down at the stables with Freedom," she said softly.
G'fal shook his head. "No, you're fine. Why don't you just take a seat until we're finished?" He looked back at the weyrlings. Surely they weren't going to argue.
