Freyath daintily stepped into the water in front of Calyssa. She looked over her shoulder and watched them.
Belenoth on the other hand charged into the water, spraying everyone around him. S'tex sighed as Calyssa held his arm. "I think I have my work cut out for me," he said wistfully as his sister grabbed the brushes.
"Don't worry about it," Calyssa smiled. "J'sen and I will help you until your hand's healed and I'm sure Belenoth will settle down. He's still young and excited right now," she chuckled as she handed him a brush so they could get to work.
She smiled over at J'sen. "Thanks again for being willing to help us," she said, shivering just a bit as the water touched her stomach from Belenoth splash.

J'sen could only watch as Calyssa helped her brother into the water, Belenoth splashing in while Freyath took her time. Amonth came over and merely looked at his fellow Bronze, then at Freyath before looking at the three humans. He chuckled at the sight, then returned Calyssa's smile. "Oh, it's no problem," he said, trying not to blush at her. He wondered if she would finally realize her stomach was exposed from ripping the fabric to help bind S'tex's hand.

Belenoth continued to splash around. Freyath snorted. Belenoth. Sit! You're going to hurt Yours and Calyssa and Amonth's can't wash you if you're bouncing around, she said, sitting prettily in the water and waiting.
The fiery bronze lowered his head and stopped his splashing. Oh alright, he said reluctantly, looking over at S'tex. Are you okay? My splashing didn't hurt you?
S'tex smiled at his bronze. No, I'm okay. Don't worry. He glanced over at his sister as she finally realized how far her shirt had ripped. "Here, Cal," he said, managing to slip out of his shirt.
Calyssa's face had reddened a bit. She hadn't meant for her shirt to rip that far. "Thank you," she said, quickly slipping into the shirt that was way too big for her, but at least it kept her covered. She gave J'sen an apologetic smile. "Sorry. I was so worried about S'tex."

J'sen nodded and said nothing, trying to keep a grin from coming to his lips at Calyssa's sudden embarrassment. He would offer to give her his own tunic, but wasn't sure if that would be appropriate. Probably would be better for her brother to do instead...but J'sen couldn't pass up the opportunity to give Calyssa a playful wink before looking at G'fal and wait for further instructions. Amonth simply sat in the water and waited, looking at Belenoth then at Freyath. The yellow-bronze said nothing, but rather wanted to be patient.
Misty, likewise, was unusually quiet for the moment, but instead of being on her pet's shoulder she opted to use her larger cousin's back as a perch. She curled up into a ball and waited, her blue eyes sparkling like tiny water droplets as she took everything in.

Calyssa wrapped her arms around herself, feeling stupid for not realizing what she had done. She gave them both a shy smile. Normally it wouldn't bother her, but she liked J'sen and this wasn't the way to do it.
Storm sat happily on Freyath's back and watched. Belenoth was actually sitting semi still while Freyath was acting the lady that she was.
G'fal waited for the weyrlings to gather up what they needed and make their way toward the lake. He was glad to see that S'tex was being helped along with F'har. He'd check on them both later. "Alright," he said cheerily. "I'll demonstrate on Treoth, then you all can get to work on your own young ones."
G'fal picked up the brush and some sweetsand and worked into into Treoth's hide. The brown crooned in pleasure as G'fal started to scrub him. G'fal chuckled and finished a spot before turning back to his class.
"Any questions?" he asked. "If not, then get started. Just remember that your dragons are still young, so you don't have to push quite as hard as you did when you learned on Elliwodth," he reminded them.

Quindara took a handful of the foaming sand and spread it on her lifemate's gleaming hide. Then she began to work the brush in slow circles and quickly feel to daydreaming.
You're thinking about him, aren't you? The man with the bronze dragon? Artemth asked sagely. You get such odd feelings when you think of him..warm and tingly.
Quindara blushed. It doesn't bother you does it? She knew that those feelings could be confusing to a young dragon.
No. I do not understand, but I know they are good feelings. He just better behave himself is all. she said huffily. Quindara laughed and continued washing.
K'von knew his brother couldn't get his cast wet..but washing two dragons would be difficult...but then he smiled and summoned his firelizards. One by one, the brown green and white appeared. "You guys get some sweetsand and wash Irisith. Be gentle now, she's just a baby." Nereus nodded acknowledgment, he was the smartest of the three and the de-facto leader despite his small size. He chirped his orders to Araceli and Cinaed, who, with some grouching on Cinaed's part, got to work on the little green, cheeping at her to get into the water.
K'von watched them out of the corner of his eye while he worked on washing Cernuoth, he figured he could check and make sure Irisith was clean after he was done. Meanwhile Cernuoth sat passively during his bath, watching all the other hatchlings with an interested eye and emitting an occasional croon when His rubbed a good spot.
M'thos had to chase after his blue, who was happily romping with Irisith. "Come on Sylvanuth, you're filthy, we have to get you clean. Besides you said you wanted to play in the lake. ]
Oh Right! The shiny lake thing! The blue turned abruptly and charged into the water, spreading tiny waves and spray. Oooh it feels good!

J'sen took a handful of the sweetsand and applied it to Amonth's hide, then started to work the sand in with the brush. Every so often he kept looking at Calyssa, blushing at her then quickly turning away as if trying to stay focused.
Why do you blush when you look at Freyath's? Amonth was curious, which only deepened J'sen's cheeks, but still the yellow-bronze stretched out his neck to look his bonded in the eye.
She didn't realize what she was doing, exposing her stomach like that. J'sen quickly thought. Amonth simply narrowed his eyes at the young man, but the young dragon's eyes were still a strong blue, as if he were looking right through his lifemate. You care for her greatly, do you not? I may not understand these feelings you have for her, Mine, but I can see you would do anything to keep her from harm or from embarrassing herself. This is a good thing. J'sen could only look at Amonth long enough to turn away, closing his eyes in shame. I'm sorry, my friend. I didn't mean to hurt you. Nuzzling his bonded, the yellow-bronze seemed to be unaffected. You haven't harmed me, Mine. You're an honorable person and only wants to do right by others. This is why I chose you.[/i] J'sen could only rub his dragon's eye ridges affectionately in response, his facial expression suggesting he was both relieved yet a bit embarrassed.

Calyssa secured S'tex's shirt before setting to work on scrubbing Freyath's glistening hide. She shivered slightly when the water managed to splash up and under the shirt. She did smile a little though when Storm went over to help S'tex with Belenoth. Freyath gently head butted Calyssa.
Calyssa? Why are you red like me? A proper lady is not like that. The red cocked her head to the side before she realized where Calyssa was staring. You like him, she said.
Calyssa's face paled. I am sorry, Freyath. I shouldn't have been thinking about him. The red shook her head as Calyssa massaged the sweetsand into her hide. I do not mind. They are nice feelings. She smiled at her dragon
S'tex did his best to get the sweetsand in the right spots on his prancing dragon. He giggled as Storm started to help get the spots he couldn't reach one-handed.
That tickles! the fiery bronze exclaimed, flapping his wings. Sorry, S'ex smiled. But hold still a bit longer and I'll try to finish up. I'll try, Belenoth promised, but there was no sit still for him. He had to constantly be moving. Is that still enough? Can I play now? I'm tired of sitting. Hey, Freyath! Amonth! Let's play!
S'tex shook his head with a laugh. Storm chittered at the bronze as he moved out of the flit's reach for a minute.
